What does a cardiac sonographer do?
Medical imaging studies of the cardiovascular system and heart are carried out by trained specialists known as cardiac sonographers. Education

In most cases, cardiac sonographers work full-time. Depending on the company, you might have to work extra hours, including weekends and holidays. On call coverage is another service that certain cardiac sonographers offer. Clinic and diagnostic imaging center cardiac sonographers, who see patients at prearranged appointments, typically have more consistent hours than their hospital-based counterparts.
